Salvia (also known as “sage”) blooms summer to autumn. Planted in the spring, these aromatic beauties are great for cutting and beloved by bees and butterflies—plus, they’re drought-tolerant. All salvias thrive in full sun and well-drained soil. Many varieties (typically those with light-colored flowers) will also do well in part-shade, but flowering will be reduced.
Salvia can be purchased as a 4-pack at $2.50 or in a flat of 48 plants (12 packs) at $23.00 making each pack $1.90.
Color choices: Victoria Blue or Red Hot Sally
